Best: Angelina Jolie
Emerald green was one of the hot colors of the night at the Golden Globes -- and it's no suprise that nominee (for best actress in a comedy or musical) Angelina Jolie looked stunning in it. The star of The Tourist dazzles in her vintage-inspired Valentino and the bright hue keeps all eyes on her. (As if they weren't already!)
Best: Anne Hathaway
Anne Hathaway may have been naked in Love and Other Drugs, but she's all covered up on the red carpet -- at least in the front! The actress shines in a glittery, long-sleeved Armani Prive gown, and the low-cut back brings a sexy surprise.
Worst: Michelle Williams
Blue Valentine star (and best actress in a drama nominee) Michelle Williams has come a long way from her Dawson's Creek days. Unfortunately her dress has not. With its oversized daisy print and bizarre side ruffles, the actress' gown looks like a frumpy '90s flashback.
Best: Natalie Portman
Natalie Portman is known for rocking the red carpet -- so it's not surprising that she'd add her own fashion flair to her maternity style. The Black Swan star (and best actress winner) covers her growing baby belly in an elegantly draped, silk blush Viktor and Rolf gown. And while we're slightly puzzled by the red rose accent, her radiance more than makes up for it.
Best: Scarlett Johansson
Newly single Scarlett Johansson sure doesn't look like she's battling the breakup blues! The actress's blush, embellished Elie Saab gown looks glam and gorgeous and the delicate butterfly sleeves add a vintage vibe.
Worst: Helena Bonham Carter
From the retro shades to the ratty ponytail, this look is just plain weird -- even for Helena Bonham Carter. And is the star of The King's Speech (and best supporting actress in a drama nominee) aware of the fact that her shoes are two different colors?
Best: Nicole Kidman
Rabbit Hole star -- and best actress in a drama nominee -- Nicole Kidman shines in a sequined, one-shouldered Prada stunner, and the sweet bow belt adds a flirty, feminine touch.
Best: Lea Michele
Glee star Lea Michele (who was up for best actress in a TV series, comedy or musical) looks pretty in pink in her dramatic Oscar de la Renta gown. And her loose waves and sweet smile soften the sophisticated, structured look. "I love the color pink and it made me feel really happy and light," the actress said of her frock.
Worst: January Jones
It goes without saying that the Mad Men star January Jones looks smokin' hot in her cleavage-baring, bright red dress -- but the cut-out gown is just a touch too revealing for a black-tie affair.
Best: Sandra Bullock
Presenter Sandra Bullock's romantic, beaded Jenny Packham gown looks soft and sweet on the carpet -- while her bold, blunt hairstyle provides a fierce contrast. As always, the actress pulls off the look with ease.
Best: Olivia Wilde
House star Olivia Wilde shines in a sparkly, voluminous Marchesa gown. "It's really comfortable, actually," the actress said on the red carpet. "I could eat a cheeseburger in there." And Wilde's spiked Christian Louboutin booties serve as the perfect tough-girl accessory for her feminine frock.
Worst: Tilda Swinton
Tilda Swinton's buttoned-up red carpet look certainly makes a statement -- just probably not the one she's aiming for. The oversized blouse and pleated, column skirt do nothing but wash her out and add bulk to the I Am Love star's slight frame.
Best: Kyra Sedgwick
The Closer star (and Globe nominee) Kyra Sedgwick looks bold and beautiful in her eye-popping mustard Emilio Pucci gown. The empire waist and ruffled V-neck flatter her figure and her metallic gold accessories keep the look luxe.
Best: Jane Krakowski
Mom-to-be Jane Krakowski is positively glowing as she shows off her baby bump in a Badgley Mischka gown. The 30 Rock star keeps her maternity look fresh and sexy with a one-shouldered silhouette and playful, bold accessories.
Best: Emma Stone
Easy A star Emma Stone complements her new blonde locks and California tan with a bright peach Calvin Klein gown. With the sleek silhouette and high neckline, the best actress in a comedy or musical nominee keeps the look elegant and refined.
Worst: Halle Berry
Frankie and Alice star Halle Berry can't help but ooze sex appeal. And while the best actress nominee was surely the recipient of many envious glances, her lingerie-inspired look seems more suited for the bedroom than the red carpet.
Best: Sofia Vergara
Modern Family star Sofia Vergara is sizzling in her curve-hugging Vera Wang gown, and the corset back and tie belt help further accentuate the assets on the sultry actress (who was up for best supporting actress in a TV series). Va va voom!
Best: Mila Kunis
Black Swan star Mila Kunis (who was up for best supporting actress in a drama) is beautifully elegant in her jewel-toned, textured gown and her updo looks ballerina-chic.
Worst: Julianne Moore
For redhead Julianne Moore, choosing a hot pink gown was already a risk -- and the single, pouffy sleeve didn't help. Plus, it looks like the star of The Kids Are All Right (a best actress in a comedy nominee) could have used one more steam on her wrinkled skirt before hitting the carpet.
Best: Piper Perabo
Piper Perabo is the picture of elegance in a classic black Oscar de la Renta gown. With her structured bow detail and bright red lips, the Covert Affairs star (who was up for best TV actress) looks radiant for her first Golden Globes appearance.
Best: Carrie Underwood
It's another flawless red-carpet turn for country star Carrie Underwood! The nominee for best original song for "There's a Place for Us" from Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader keeps her look simple in a glittery, strapless Badgley Mischka gown with a dramatic train.Best: Christina Aguilera
Dangerous curves ahead! Burlesque star Christina Aguilera (who was nominated for best original song for "Bound to You") looks glamorous and voluptous in a beaded Zuhair Murad mermaid gown.
Worst: Jennifer Lopez
Dressed in winter white, we can't decide if Jennifer Lopez looks more like a bride -- or the mother of the bride! The American Idol judge is usually fashion-forward, but her jeweled poncho errs on the side of matronly.
Best: Claire Danes
Temple Grandin star Claire Danes is bright and bold in her backless, neon Calvin Klein Collection gown -- the ideal look-at-me choice for the winner of best actress in a mini-series or motion picture made for TV.
