After making his directorial debut with Novel which has Sada in lead role, East Coast Vijayan is back with a new film titled Mohabbat (Malayalam movie), a Muslim social romantic drama. The star cast in Mohabat malayalam film include Meera Jasmine, Nedumudi Venu, Jagathy, Devan, Asokan, Suraj Venjramood, Shaari and Lakshmi Priya. Cast opposite to Meera Jasmin are new faces Anand Michael and Munna (Ravanan fame).
Popular novelist Siddique Shameer has written the story and script. According to the director, " Mohabbath is a modern romantic film and is a triangular love story set against a rich Muslim family background ". Music by S Balakrishnan and Bichy Thirumala has written the lyrics. Movie is also produced by East Coast Vijayan under the banner of East Coast Communications.
