Kavya Madhavan, who made a successful return to films post her failed marriage with Dileep starrer 'Pappy Appacha', has been signed up to play the female lead in arthouse director Priyanandanan's next, titled ‘Bhakthajanangalude Sradhakku’. Unlike his other films, there are many mainstream actors in ‘Bhakthajanangalude Sradhakku’. They include Jagathy Sreekumar, Suraj, Lal, Bijukuttan, Sreeraaman, Sadhique, Lalu Alex and Nishanath Sagar. Irshad plays the male lead.
Renjith pens the story for ‘Bhakthajanangalude Sradhakku’ and P manoj writes the scenario. The film will go on floors soon in Palakkad.
Priyanandan's last release 'Soofi Paranja Katha' was well received by the critics.
