The group plans to October 8 hasta 11 events as a "national action" around the slogan of John Jacobs, "bringing the war." National Action grew a resolution drafted by Jacobs and presented at the meeting in October 1968 SDS National Council in Boulder, Colorado. The resolution, entitled "Elections do not mean shit-Vote, where power is our power is in the street" and approved by the Council was motivated by the success of the Democratic National Convention protests in August 1968 and reflects the defense of Jacobs direct action as a political strategy.
