Emmy Award


Emmy Award, often called simply the Emmy, is a television production price of a similar nature to the Peabody Awards but more focused on entertainment, and is considered the equivalent of television at the Academy Awards ( for movies) and Grammy (music).

They are presented in different sectors of the television industry, including entertainment, news and documentary shows, and sporting events. As such, the awards are divided into several regional ceremonies held every year during the year. The most famous of these ceremonies are the Primetime Emmy Awards, with respect for excellence in American primetime television shows (not sports), the Daytime Emmy Awards, with respect for excellence in American daytime television programs and a Prize Regional Emmys, which will be presented for excellence in programming across the country at different times during the year.
