World Trade Center
The World Trade Center at home was a complex of seven buildings, with the mark of the twin towers in Manhattan, New York. The complex opened April 4, 1973, and was destroyed in 2001 during the September 11. The site is being rebuilt with five new skyscrapers and a memorial for the victims of the attacks. In September 2011, only a skyscraper was completed with four more expected to be completed by 2020. A sixth round has not yet been confirmed to be built. Upon completion, 1 and 2 World Trade Center were the tallest buildings in the world, surpassing the Empire State Building, also in Manhattan.
