Orange County is a county in the U.S. state of California. Its county seat is Santa Ana. In 2010 census, its population was 3,010,232, an increase of 2,846,293 in 2000 census, making it the third most populous county in California, behind Los Angeles and San Diego County.He is the sixth most populous county in the United States from 2009, while at the same time is also the least-region Wise County in Southern California, which is about half the size of the second smallest county, Ventura. The county is known for its tourism, as the home to attractions such as Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm has, and several beaches along its more than 40 miles (64 kilometers) from shore. It is also known for its wealth and political conservatism.
